Last year I started writing posts on my blog about "living with the ring!" But I wasn't talking about my ring, I was talking about living with my friends who were engaged. I never really took it anywhere though and opted out on all the juicy stories because they weren't mine.
However, now I'm living with my ring! Yes, you read that right - I'm engaged to my High School sweetheart and love of my life. [Aww!] Throughout my engagement, people have been telling me that I should blog or write a book about being engaged, planning a stress-free wedding, and having the time of your life with the love of your life! So here I am bringing you into my world of "living with the ring."
I'm a bride who is obsessed with organization, simplicity, and details.
And I manage to stay this way thanks to spreadsheets, timelines, and pinterest.
Buckle up, friends. I'm about to bring you the stories you've always wanted to hear with the advice that you never thought you needed.
And since you waited patiently and will continue on this journey with me, here is the beautiful ring that I get to live with every day! It sparkles in the dark and blinds my friends. Strangers gasp at it and I stare at it all day. It's my blinging engagement ring!!

that day in april
So there is a special day to celebrate in April that is for someone very special to me... the boy's birthday! This year we're not sitting at the Phillies ballpark like we normally are because I'm across the pond. So I'm wishing him a very happy birthday!
Happy Birthday, my love!
I love you more every single day :)

It is officially your 22 birthday!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and day.
You're my best friend and everything love!
I'm so thankful for you and wish you the best year ever :)
Travel back a few years with me as we look at the last few birthdays!
Every year I combine Nick's 2 big loves...
me and baseball.
Here we are celebrating his 19th birthday with the Phillies:)
(We failed to get decent ball park photos there years)
Here we are celebrating his 20th birthday at the Phillies!
His special Diamond Club seats for his 21st bday at the Phillies!!!
One surprise "special" game worth noting -
Celebrating Nick's new job with Post Season tickets!
And finally, Nick's 22nd birthday with the Phillies!
His name on the board and confetti at his seat while we sang:)
Top: Baby Phanatic. Bottom: Mama Phanatic.
This year just happen to be against the Mets (we hate them).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HANDSOME!

spring training
It's that time of year again.
Rita's. Sunshine. Baseball.
That is what spring is all about.
Sitting in the stadium with Nick
on a cool spring night watching the sunset
in the outfield while eating water ice
(not Rita's but still pretty good).
Nick is a die hard Phillies fan
and I've always loved them,
but I've taken my dedication
to all new levels since dating him.
We are phillies and baseball hungry!
Get back up here boys and let's gooo :)
Heads up - big weekend on this little blog!
Stick around and stay awhile those days
because you'll be glad you did :)

my valentine
So today, Valentine's Day, will be spent 1. in class 2. throwing a birthday and valentine party for some kiddos I babysit for 3. going to work and giving people tours of my school's campus and 4. sitting through a three hour night class.
Everyone else will be smooching it up with their boo, and I will be taking notes on how to teach students English from other countries. Yes I know it screams romantic and exciting. Nick and I will be celebrating this coming weekend instead - but I already went to see The Vow with him so that kind of counts!
If I could go out tonight and wear anything it would be this:
If I could make any food for tonight it would be PB heart cookies:
If I could be eating anything right now it would be these chocolates:
If I was going to craft for Valentine's Day I would make these:
If I could be anywhere today I would be with him:
Nick is the only boyfriend that I've dated over this holiday.
And I'm so glad I never let any other boy ruin it for me because
he has always been amazing with this holiday (4 years in a row baby)!
Maybe it's because Nick and St Valentine share the same bday?!
Anyways, he always surprises me with something incredible!
Jewelry, cheesy bears, roses, chocolates, dinners... the works!
This year he got me a pink rose dipped in gold
from I Hate Steven Singer! And I loveee it!
Yes, it is a real rose. Yes, it is dipped/painted in 24 karat gold.
No, it will never die because it is dipped in a protective sealant.
I have it sitting on my table looking like the rose from Beauty and the Beast!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope that you all have a great day friends,
regardless of you relationship status.
One last thing, I have to honor an amazing singer.
Two of my all time favorite songs by Whitney Houston.
I Will Always Love You.
I Wanna Dance With Somebody.

hello sunshine
Nicholas and I were on the beach enjoy 60 degree weather on New Years Day in Fenwick, Delaware! I guess that means it was a little prediction of what was to come. Hey, I'm not complaining :) I can always use a more blonde!
